Michael Clarke Duncan Passes Away At 54

Michael Clarke Duncan, star of such movies as “The Green Mile” and “The Whole Nine Yards,” has passed away. He was 54.

According to TMZ, his passing came very suddenly. His fiancee, Omarosa Manigault, was with him in his hospital room in Los Angeles and left for a short period of time. When she returned … he had died.

Our sources say Omarosa’s mother was with him when he passed.

Duncan’s rep tells TMZ the actor never fully recovered from the myocardial infarction he suffered on July 13. As TMZ first reported, Omarosa found Duncan in cardiac arrest and performed CPR and was able to resuscitate him before calling 911.

The rep tells us, “[Omarosa] Manigault is grateful for all of your prayers and asks for privacy at this time. Celebrations of his life, both private and public, will be announced at a later date.”

Duncan was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of John Coffey in “The Green Mile.” He worked as a bodyguard for celebrities like Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, Jamie Foxx, LL Cool J, and Notorious B.I.G. before he got his break.

Facebook Cracking Down on Fake Likes

Facebook is cracking down on fake page Likes, and plans to hit the delete button on Likes that violate the company’s policy, the social network stated on its website Friday.

“…We have recently increased our automated efforts to remove Likes on Pages that may have been gained by means that violate our Facebook Terms,” the company stated on its Facebook page. “These newly improved automated efforts will remove those Likes gained by malware, compromised accounts, deceived users, or purchased bulk Likes.”

The social network emphasized in its statement that the company has never allowed the purchase of Facebook Likes. The company added it wants “authentic users” to be able to connect to brand pages.

However, earlier this year it was disclosed in a Security and Exchange Commission filing that about 83 million Facebook accounts were fake.

Facebook said it has always had protections in place to ensure page Likes are real. But the new improvements are “specifically configured to identify and take action against suspicious Likes.”

Why Mitt Romney Didn’t Pick Condoleezza Rice As His Running Mate

Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney didn’t pick former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to become his vice-presidential running mate because she is pro-choice, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.

“Condi was fully vetted to become Mitt Romney’s running mate and turned over financial records, including tax returns,” a source close to Rice tells Radar.

“Mitt thought she would add much needed foreign policy experience to the ticket, thinks she is incredibly bright and he knew she would help with the all important female vote and African American support.”However, Mitt’s advisers talked him out of it because Condi is pro-choice and she isn’t willing to change her position on the controversial issue. Condi also supports same sex civil unions which again, put her at odds with Romney. Mitt had a hard time getting the ultra conservative support of the GOP and was told if he picked Condi that would immediately be lost and so he ultimately picked Congressman Paul Ryan to be his running mate.”

Rice, who served as National Security Adviser and Secretary of State under George W. Bush, spoke at the GOP convention Wednesday night and her speech received rave reviews — being called one of the best of the convention.

“She’s a very elegant speaker,” Janice McConaha-Komer, an alternate delegate from Texas told the Huffington Post.”She certainly is good for us women. She definitely represents women very favorably.”

However, Ryan’s speech was criticized because he inaccurately said that a General Motors auto plant in Janesville, Wisconsin closed under President Obama’s watch, however, the plant actually closed in 2008 when Bush was in office.

Meanwhile, Rice is currently a professor at Stanford Graduate School of Business in California and is eying a run for Governor.

“Condoleezza is definitely leaning towards running for Governor of California. She wasn’t upset or surprised that she wasn’t picked to be Romney’s running mate,” the source says.

“She will continue to stump for him but she is very excited about the prospect of running for elected office for the first time in her life. California still has very high unemployment and companies are leaving the Golden State because of very high taxes and regulations. Condi’s position on social issues makes her a very viable candidate.”

SMH: Georgia Man Beaten for Dating an African-American Woman

A Georgia man was left bloodied and bruised after he was brutally attacked for dating an African-American girl. The interracial couple were strolling through Ellis Square, a public space in Savannah, shortly before midnight last Friday, when they say three black men began taunting them. The provocation began as racial slurs, then the scoffers started blowing kisses and suddenly the trio jumped the boyfriend, Andrew Quade - who is white, beating him and leaving him barely conscious.

The violent response to the mixed-race romance has left the couple in shock that such vicious intolerance still exists.

The couple say they were simply minding their own business as they walked through the Savannah spot, one of the busiest squares in the historic downtown, known for being the epitome of Southern charm.

Then the group targeted the couple. Quade, 23, said he tried to stay calm and just keep moving when the insults began. Bakre insisted that the couple did nothing to provoke the brawl and is confident that the pair’s racial difference is what motivated the confrontation.

Police are now investigating and searching for the perpetrators.

Woman Claims Kris Humphries Gave Her Herpies

Kris Humphries is being sued by a woman who claims he gave her herpes.

According to TMZ;

Kayla Goldberg claims she met Kris in August, 2010 at the Newsroom Cafe on Robertson Blvd in L.A. — long before Kris met Kim Kardashian. The two flirted, exchanged numbers, and Kayla claims that night they met up at Trousdale nightclub on the Sunset Strip.

According to the suit, Kris came on to Kayla, touching, kissing and dancing with her. Kayla claims he took her to his hotel and they had sex multiple times … including oral sex. The suit claims during a portion of the sexual encounter Kris did not wear a condom.

The lawsuit claims Kris did not inform Kayla he had herpes — and she claims in the suit that he did indeed have the disease.

Kayla says a week later she was diagnosed with herpes. Her symptoms included a sore throat, fever, body aches and immobilizing pain, as well as extreme vaginal irritation and painful lesions on her genitalia.

She’s suing for sexual battery claiming Kris knew he had herpes when they hooked up and didn’t tell her.

Kayla — who put her full name in the lawsuit — is suing for unspecified damages.
